Trip to the E.R.


Okay, so Elaine called me at work last week to report that Mary-Kensley had gashed her head and was bleeding all over the place and they were heading to the emergency room. It was a bad cut (all the way to her skull) and she got about 15 stitches. But, it didn't slow her down one bit.

In this picture, Nathan is pointing out the blood splattered on the floor where Mary-Kensley fell.


She didn't smile much that first day.

    I hope she got some ice crem out of that. Free ice cream is the only good part of getting hurt.

    She did, actually. I went to the hospital and took Nathan and Olivia home. Elaine and Mary-Kensley went and got ice cream after they were done getting all stitched up.
